Teaser Tuesday ~ Blood Bound and Magic Bites Edition

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1)
I could not resist myself...I had to include the whole little "scene" that I thought was really funny.

“What happened to the alpha-wolf?" "LEGOs."
"Legos?" It sounded Greek but I couldn't recall anything mythological with that name. Wasn't it an island?
"He was carrying a load of laundry into the basement and tripped on the old set of LEGOs his kids left on the stairs. Broke two ribs and an ankle.”

Blood Bound (Mercedes Thompson, #2)

“Adam wants to know what took you so long?
"Tell him I had wild, passionate sex with a complete stranger.”

  1. Love both of these teasers!! I can't wait to read both of these series. I have a lot of catch up to do with UF. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. haha the alpha wolf tripped on legos! I've been meaning to read the Kate Daniels series! I've heard it is amazing and I never realized since it has such a hideous cover lol I miss Adam & Mercy! Their bickering is so entertaining. I love Mercy's response.
