Friday Follow The Tome Edition

The Better Part of Darkness (Charlie Madigan, #1)Q: What is the longest book you’ve read? What are your favorite 600+ page reads?

Currently, the longest book I've read since I've started book blogging is The Better Part of Darkness by Kelly Gay, it's a total of 394 pages and it was possibly the best book I've read this year.  I haven't read a lot of 600+ page books that fit on this blog but one that comes close in page count is Beautiful Creatures.  I really liked this book a lot.  All Southern Gothic and a touch of "creep" factor.

Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1)Leave me a link to your post and I'll be sure to drop by and say HI!

  4. Nice choice! I'm sure you'll read a big book later. I love the Kelly Gay series but haven't read the other.

  5. If you consider the fact that the version of The Lord of The Rings I read was the one that’s one book with the 3 parts inside (1202 pages in the brazilian version), that would be the longest book I’ve ever read. But if you consider series to favorite 600+ page reads, hands down, Harry Potter. Not so much for the story, but for the feeling it brings me every time I think about it.

I did enjoy Beautiful Creatures, and I'm looking forward to reading Beautiful Darkness. I'm so behind on reading this series!

    I'm a new follower, btw!
